As I have said so many times, I have been a fan of Tillie Cole since her very first book. She is such a versatile author that can and has written so many different genres and stories that are all so well done! With each book she writes, I think this one is my new favorite and then she writes another beautiful story and I just can’t decide; because they are all so amazing!!
She has done it again with A Thousand Boy Kisses! This book… Oh man I just don’t even know where to begin.

Tillie’s writing of this story was not only stunning but filled with so much emotion and she was able to evoke SO much out of me while I read it. She made me fall in love with not only Rune and Poppy, but also everything around them. I felt the anguish, the laughter, the sorrow, the friendship, and definitely the deep love within their story.
There are always so many little moments throughout Tillies books that make them special, and A Thousand Boy Kisses is FILLED with these special moments. The creative and unique things that she comes up with just blow me away. If I could I would have highlighted the entire book, because there are that many amazing parts to share!

Poppy and Rune’s story starts at the young age of 5, when they meet and become instant best friends. Poppy is one of the strongest female characters I have ever read. She is SO full of love, happiness, and life, that you can’t help but smile at all the little things she notices and appreciates around here. She lives each day to the fullest and it makes you want to live life the same way. Rune is much more of a sullen and brooding character, but Poppy brings out a side of him that no one else can and teaches him what love really is. She changes his world and saves him in so many ways.
The love that these two share through out the years is beyond beautiful and such a treasure to read! It is an innocent love that knows no boundaries.

Okay I am a crier by nature and I get emotional pretty easy. But NEVER has a story left me so emotionally exhausted and yet so complete! I honestly can’t stop thinking about this beautiful book! This is the kind of book that makes me remember why I love to invest my time into characters and makes me fall in love with reading all over again!
A Thousand Boy Kisses is told in dual point of view, which brings so much more to the story!

I know not everyone reads YA books, but you have to give this book a chance, because it will steal your heart! PLEASE and I can’t stress this enough, go into this story blind. Stay away from spoilers and experience the story as its meant to be. You will not be disappointed.
