Genres: Love & Romance, New Adult

He knows how to score, on and off the ice Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn’t have the first clue about what she’s going to do after college. To make matters worse, she’s nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di-Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won’t include the king of one-night stands.

It’ll take more than flashy moves to win her over

Dean always gets what he wants. Girls, grades, girls, recognition, girls…he’s a ladies man, all right, and he’s yet to meet a woman who’s immune to his charms. Until Allie. For one night, the feisty blonde rocked his entire world—and now she wants to be friends? Nope. It’s not over until he says it’s over. Dean is in full-on pursuit, but when life-rocking changes strike, he starts to wonder if maybe it’s time to stop focusing on scoring…and shoot for love.

I don’t think I can get sick of the Off Campus series. I have really enjoyed each one and The Score does not disappoint!

Dean is the ultimate player. He’s also super hot, loaded, and pretty funny.

“I like to fuck. I fuck a lot. So sue me.”

Yeah, that pretty much sums up Dean in a nutshell. Allie on the other hand is the complete opposite. She’s more of a nester-she’s always in relationships. So after a drunken, albeit a very hot night together, she wants nothing to do with Dean and his one-night stands. But unfortunately for him he hasn’t gotten his fill of Allie and she won’t give him the time of day.

“’You know, I don’t think we’re dealing with a Bella’s-magical-blood situation here.’

‘No. I think you’ve imprinted on this girl’s pussy.’”

Eventually he wears her down and they decide to become friends with benefits. But as we all know, friends with benefits usually ends up becoming more of a relationship.

This story was a bit different then the others. I think this one took on more of a serious tone and there were a few different topics weaved into the story that were a bit heavier.

I honestly wasn’t sure that I was going to end up liking Dean but just like Allie, he wore me down as well. He is definitely a charmer-trust me! Allie was a great heroine. I was a bit nervous that she was going to jeopardize her future for her relationship but that definitely was not the case.  I think these two complemented each other and both came into their own throughout the book.

All in all, this was a great addition to the series. I was definitely hoping for a certain “couple” I say that loosely as they aren’t one yet but I can just feel it. But I imagine that the end of the book gives way to who the next book will be about.
