Smut sells.

Michael Rourke learned this the hard way.

Struggling to make ends meet as a mystery writer, he sold his soul - and his pride - as he pedaled sex and lust writing under the pen name Christoph Strong.

No one knew he was the one behind the steamy stories on the bestsellers lists. And he planned to keep it that way.

Until he met her.

Monica Singer, an infamous blogger, is keen to discover the truth of his secret identity.

During a chance meeting at a book convention, Michael and Monica form an instant connection. And soon, an industry rivalry becomes something else entirely.

But as Michael starts to let his guard down, he doesn’t realize that the person he's learning to trust may be hiding secrets of her own.

Secrets that could ultimately destroy everything.

Alexis says…

Is there a book out there that just makes you smile the entire time?  This book is that book for me!  The best way I can describe this book is the movie Best in Show meets an author signing.  I laughed out loud like crazy, I swooned hard-core and I literally just fell in love with this story. This book is a must-read for anyone who is a street-team member, blogger, author, tour company, etc.

I do not want to give like anything away about this story…it is something that must be read without ANY spoilers so my lips are sealed.  What I will tell you is that I loved the two main characters, Monica/Lauren and Christoph/Mike.  They were both such great main characters that even though there were things that bothered me (some serious insta-love) that honestly, I was able to over look because I was too busy enjoying the book.  They  had crazy-hot chemistry and they had you rooting for them the entire time.

Christoph/Mark is an crime author who has hit a snag and delved into writing erotica because it pays the big bucks.  He guards his personal life as he doesn’t want anyone knowing what sort of books he writes, hence the pen name Christoph Strong.  On the way to a very large author signing, his identity is leaked to all the various media outlets that us book junkies use on a regular basis.  What happens is complete madness at the signing and I loved everything single bit of it  Monica/Lauren is one of the biggest if not the biggest blogger out there.  She is  the blogger everyone wants to be and hates that they aren’t.  Of course she is not a big fan of Christoph’s work.  Of course things do not go as planned and feelings between the two may occur.  Ok…that’s all the story you are getting from me.

What I was not expecting was a totally different story interlaced within and certain things from the past to come to surface.  I also love all of the different characters introduced throughout the  book.  OyMG…the blog posts are total perfection I can’t even begin to tell you how funny and how right they totally are.
