Liam Quinn is talented, gorgeous, and one of the biggest movie stars in the world.

He's also the only man Elissa Holt has ever truly loved.

After being out of her life for six years, he and his gorgeous fiancé are set to star in the new Broadway show Elissa is stage managing. The only trouble is, when late night rehearsals bring Elissa and Liam together, the line between what is and what could have been gets blurred, and one moment of weakness will lead to a scandal that echoes around the world.

Elissa knows that falling for Liam again would be a tragedy in the making, but as any good romantic will tell you, love doesn’t always follow the script.

Stacia and Casey say…

We were both beyond excited when we found out that there was going to be a 3rd book in the Star crossed series- especially since Bad Romeo blew both of us away and was one of our top reads of 2014. Wicked Heart is about Ethan’s little sister, who we first met in Bad Romeo and Broken Juliet.

Level headed Elissa Holt is one of the most respected show runners on Broadway. She is dependable, professional, and known to always stay calm in a crisis. To keep things stress free, she sticks to the same rules for each show: “treat everyone with respect, be firm but fair, and do not ever get romantically involved with someone in one of the shows.” Easy enough rules to follow for most of her career, that is until the one man who could always make her swoon (and happens to have broken her heart) walks back into her life.

“Heartache doesn’t teach you to be resilient. It teaches you to protect your fragility. It teaches you to fear love. And it draws a bright red circle around all the ways you’ve failed as a person and laughs while you cry.”

Liam Quinn was the “one”. He was the person that fate brought (if you believe in those sorts of things) to Elissa. After having her heart broken from one to many actors, she swore she would never date another one. But she couldn’t help but fall for Liam and he wanted her just as bad. That is until he broke her heart and she swore she would never feel this way about a man again. Six years later, Liam is now engaged to his gorgeous co-star and they are both huge Hollywood stars that are back in New York to work on Broadway……with Elissa as their stage manager.

“Every day I try to ignore my attraction to you. Every… damn…day. I tell myself I’m over you and can’t have these feelings, but it doesn’t help. Nothing helps.”

Stacia: I love the way that Leisa tells a story. Normally I am not one for books that go back and forth from past to present, because usually I end up confused and the story tends to drag on. But Leisa does it seamlessly and it just works so well. I did think that parts of this story seemed very familiar; I’m not sure if that is because of the similarities to Bad Romeo and Broken Juliet or if I’ve just read one to many books. But, I still really enjoyed this book and Liam and Elissa’s story. Plus the epilogue was a great closure to the series!

Casey: Overall, I really enjoyed this series. I was a bit nervous going into the third book- because, I really loved Bad Romeo but Broken Juliet fell a bit flat for me. Told from the heroine’s POV Wicked Heart was right back on track and reminded me how much I love Leisa Rayven’s writing!!! It was captivating, sexy and full of angst. If you love second chance romances, I surely recommend you pick this one up. I loved Elissa and Liam’s story just as much as Cassie and Ethan’s story- and theirs is definitely not one to miss!

About Leisa Rayven

Writing has always been a passion for Leisa, and even though she originally intended to be an actress, it wasn’t long into her time at drama school that she began writing plays.

Those plays were bad. Very bad. Well, her friends thought they were good, but that’s because they were always cast in them and any opportunity to be on stage was met with an obnoxious amount of enthusiasm.

Since then, she’s honed her craft, and several of her plays have been produced and toured throughout Australia.

These days, playwriting has given way to fiction writing, and her debut novel, BAD ROMEO, will be available in a worldwide release through Macmillan Publishing in December 2014. The sequel, BROKEN JULIET, will be available in April 2015.

Leisa lives in Australia with her husband, two little boys, three judgemental cats, and a kangaroo named Howard. (*NB: Howard may or may not be her imaginary marsupial friend. Everyone should have one.*)
