Every story has two sides, and in this new book, the epic love story between Kiera and Kellan is shown through his eyes.

All Kellan Kyle needs is his guitar, and some clean sheets of paper. Growing up in a house that was far from a home, he learned a hard lesson:You're worthless. Now his life is comfortably filled with passionate music, loyal band mates, and fast women...until he meets her.

Kiera makes him ache for more. Makes him feel for the first time that he'sworth more. But there's one problem - she's his best friend's girl.

Just when Kellan thought his emotional defenses were rock solid, Kiera's indecisive heart wreaks havoc on his soul, changing him forever. Losing Kiera is not an option.

Casey Says…..

Let me start off by saying that I was extremely nervous, EXCITED but nervous going into this book. Alternate POV just usually is not my thing- but who the heck doesn’t want more Kellan Kyle? I read Thoughtless some time ago so I figured it would be refreshing, sort of like a re-read of a story I absolutely loved and it was…….to a point.

I knew things were going to be emotional- I struggled with Kiera the first time go round and this time was no different. Reading the emotions that poured out of Kellen due to Kieras actions were so much more gut wrenching. How much can one person take before they are just considered emotionally damaged?  I always consider any emotions (positive or negative) that a book can draw from me to be a good thing. Let me tell you now- Kellen’s emotional pain POURS off of the pages- he brings you through his feelings of worthlessness, loneliness and despair. To actually read it from his view while he puts himself through the turmoil is something no words can capture correctly.

‘I knew, without a doubt in my head, that I could fall asleep with her in my arms every night and be completely happy. And that thought, scared the crap out of me, because on the flip side, I knew I would be completely miserable without her.’

And this is where I have to say that I have a love/hate relationship with Thoughtful…… to me it can be viewed from two different spectrums. 1. I absolutely LOVED the book, because I absolutely love Kellen and Kieras story regardless of how it was told, yet 2. I found it to be a rehash of what has already been said, just from a different POV. This time go round I found Kellan to simply be a glutton for punishment and that just made me hate Kiera. So while I found him to be a bit clingy and obsessive and at times wanted to scream at him to just find someone else, I also knew that his heart lied with her.

This book definitely evoked a lot of emotions and for all you Kellen fans out there….well you just can never get enough.

xoxo Casey
