In the third unforgettable book by New York Times bestseller Emma Chase, Matthew Fisher—the best friend of Drew Evans from Tangled and Twisted—wants to settle down, but he’ll have to overcome the mistrust of the colorful and unique Dee Dee Warren.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: girl meets player, they fall in love, player changes his ways.

It’s a good story. But it’s not our story. Ours is a lot more colorful.

When I met Dee, I knew right away that she was special. When she met me, she thought I was anything but special—I was exactly like every other guy who’d screwed her over and let her down. It took some time to convince her otherwise, but it turns out I can make a convincing argument when sex is at stake.

You might know where this story’s headed. But the best part isn't where we ended up.

It’s how we got there.

Stacia Says…

After reading Tangled, Twisted, and Holy Friggin Matrimony, I thought Matthew and Dee’s story was already told. But, there is a lot more to this story.

“This is a story about a player, who meets a slightly crazy girl. They fall in love and the player changes his ways forever.”

Matthew has cheated on every single relationship that he has been in, except for one. That one he thought was the love of his life; imagine his surprise when she flipped the game on him and cheated for almost their entire time together. Guarding her heart after bad guy after bad guy, Dee has no intentions of falling for player Matthew. But, sometimes love hits when you least except it.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Emma Chase writes a male Point of View (POV) like no other!! While I enjoyed being in Kate’s head in Twisted, to me it wasn’t as good as the other books in the series. Tamed gave us all those snarky, sarcastic, at times jaw-dropping comments, from a man’s POV and I loved it! I enjoyed learning more about Dee, because in the other books in the series I thought she was a complete bitch. But, really she is sweet and is just looking for the right man to treat her the way she deserves to be treated. Matthew is that man.

“I love her because of her quirks, not in spite of them.”

I can’t wait for more of Drew and Kate in the upcoming book #4 in the series, Tied (coming in October). This is definitely a series that I would recommend!
