The New York Times bestselling author of Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player starts a brand new story of friends, love, and lust with Book One of the Wild Seasons series.

One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.

But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.

When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.

Stacia Says…

I am a huge fan of Christina Lauren’s Beautiful Bastard series and look forward to anything they write; so of course I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Sweet Filthy Boy, the first book in their new Wild Seasons series.

Mia along with and her two rambunctious best friends Harlow and Lorelei, head to Vegas for a long weekend after graduating from college. Mia needs this break from reality before moving to Boston to pursue her father’s dream; which has her attending business school for the next two years. She wants to be someone else this weekend and free herself from any thoughts of her future… which leads to her chance meeting with the sexy, confident Frenchman- Ansel Guillaume.

“I narrow my eyes, forcing them up to his face. It’s not easy. His chest is smooth and tan and he has the most perfect nipples I’ve ever seen, small and flat. He’s ripped, and tall enough to ride like a horse.”

Ansel is in Vegas with two of his closest friends Oliver and Finn, wrapping up a city to city bike tour where they build low-income housing as they go. The instant connection he feels for Mia is something new and exciting that he doesn’t want to end. So after an impulsive night, he invites her to come to France to spend the summer with him before she moves to Boston. Of course she goes, who wouldn’t pass that trip up, even with him being a virtual stranger.

“I want to feel so full of him that every other thought dissolves under the heat of it. I want his mouth everywhere, sucking at me like he does. I love how he loves my lips, how- after only one night together- his hands already know my skin.”

It wouldn’t be a Christina Lauren book if it wasn’t laugh-out-loud funny, with lots of mind-blowing sexy scenes. All the role-playing was smoking hot while still having a touch of humor. I seriously want to plan a trip to France now and find my own (my husband won’t mind right?!) gorgeous filthy French Ansel. I would say my only complaints about the book was that a lot of Mia’s time in France was spent exploring it alone, which at times became a bit slow and I also missed getting an epilogue. YES- I am a sucker for an epilogue and think every book should have one; so to me this book ended abruptly and I wanted more. This is the first book in the series and I believe the rest of the series will follow Mia’s or Ansel’s friends. I can’t wait.
