Too hot to handle...

Tabitha Allen grew up in the thick of Chaos—the Chaos Motorcycle Club, that is. Her father is Chaos' leader, and the club has always had her back. But one rider was different from the start. When Tabby was running wild, Shy Cage was there. When tragedy tore her life apart, he helped her piece it back together. And now, Tabby's thinking about much more than friendship...

Tabby is everything Shy's ever wanted, but everything he thinks he can't have. She's beautiful, smart, and as his friend's daughter, untouchable. Shy never expected more than friendship, so when Tabby indicates she wants more—much morehe feels like the luckiest man alive. But even lucky men can crash and burn...

Casey Says…..

How do I even begin to do this justice?…….Such an incredible, talented, top of the list author! If I am looking for something to read, I know without a doubt that I can always turn to her- never have I been let down, she just seems to get better and better with every book.

With her father being the president of a motorcycle club, Tabitha “Tabby” Allen grew up living the “CHAOS” life.  Running wild to help deal with the demons and past issues from her mother, Tabby always finds herself in not so trusting predicaments. In steps Parker “Shy” Cage (That name alone makes my girly parts stand up and take notice) Always there to catch her when she falls, always there waiting on the sidelines to rescue her from unforeseen events- Shy is the one always there to pick up the pieces. Tabby has always harbored feelings for Shy since the age of 16, but his actions one night force her onto the path and the arms of another man.

Shy Cage, lives up to the ideals of a typical single male in a motorcycle club. He parties hard and the women in his bed every night prove it. Until an incident in Tabby’s life force them back together once again and Shy steps in to pick up the pieces.

“I’d like to know why you dialed my number tonight, but if you don’t wanna share that shit, that’s cool too. I’ll just say, babe, I’m glad you did. You need a safe place just to forget shit and escape, I’ll give it to you. Tonight. Tomorrow. Next week. Next month. That safe place is me, Tabby.”

When emotions start ramping up and feelings get involved these two decide to keep things a secret, but we all know how that goes…….some of the best writing in this book were the show downs between Tabby and Tyra and Shy and the brothers.

“Because he tells me. All the fucking time. I’m precious to him and I know it because he shows me and he tells me. It’s beautiful. It’s real. It’s right.”

“Just so I’m clear, if you make it Tab or my cut, I pick Tab. You’ll get my cut and you, personally, will not ever, brother, not ever again see me.”

This book can be read as a standalone, but the way Kristen Ashley intertwines her characters- making them show up at different times through each of her series is like visiting with old friends. Just when you think you won’t ever hear from the hot alpha again, she gives you another little slice of heaven. Get a revisit from Fortnum’s and Uncle Tex, the sexy as hell Tack Allen and Tyra, and the entire bad ass that make up Hawk and Lee.  I can never get enough of Kristen Ashley, her writing is superb and her characters even better!

About Kristen Ashley

Kristen Ashley was born in Gary, Indiana, USA and nearly killed her mother and herself making it into the world, seeing as she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck (already attempting to accessorise and she hadn’t taken her first breath!). Her mother said they took Kristen away, put her Mom back in her room, her mother looked out the window, and Gary was on fire (Dr. King had been assassinated four days before). Kristen’s Mom remembered thinking it was the end of the world. Quite the dramatic beginning.

Nothing’s changed.

Kristen grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana and has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus, she’s blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her family was (is) loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write. They all lived together on a very small farm in a small farm town in the heartland. She grew up with Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).

Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up.

And as she keeps growing, it keeps getting better.
