CHEMISTRY WAS NEVER THIS SEXY IN HIGH SCHOOL. In her sizzling new series, USA Today bestselling author Kristen Proby sets the stage for a passionate reunion under the breathtaking Montana sky. Cara Donovan’s summer tutoring job is turning out to be a challenge—and not just because of her troubled twelve-year-old student. It’s his uncle Josh who’s the real problem. If problem is the word for an irresistibly cocky, muscle-bound rancher with a taste for tight Levi’s and shameless flirtation. . . . Cara is nothing like the wallflower Josh King remembers good-naturedly teasing in high school. This Cara is gorgeous, confident, fun. From the moment the fiery teacher steps foot on his family’s Lazy K Ranch, the stubborn playboy is determined to corral her. So what happens when his luscious lover takes over the reins? The first in a steamy trilogy, Kristen Proby’s enthralling novel is filled to the brim with one hardworking family’s triumphs and challenges, all the wild adventure of the modern West, and a whole lot of titillating fun.

 Guest Reviewer Tina Says…

Anyone that knows me and my reading obsession knows that I am a huge fan of Kristen Proby. I was lucky enough to meet her in Pittsburgh and she was so sweet and down to Earth and I was awe struck. So, every time she releases a new book, I jump at the chance to read it. Loving Cara was definitely a different Kristen Proby type of book for me. I will admit, when I first saw the cover, I was not sure what to expect. The big horse on the front frightened me a little bit! Yes, I knew the story was set on a Montana ranch, but the horse kinda freaked me out! Thankfully, I didn’t let it stop me from diving in.

Josh King has dedicated his life to his family and his family’s ranch. All things are normal on the ranch until his nephew is left on the ranch by his awful mother. Always one to take care of the family, Josh steps in to make things as normal as possible for Seth. Since Seth was having some trouble in school, he is in need of a tutor to get him caught up. Cara Donovan doesn’t have anything else going on over the summer since school is out, so she is asked to help. When Cara makes her first visit to the King’s ranch to tutor Seth, she is lucky enough to see hotty cowboy Josh King again. Josh and Cara went to high school together and she always had a crush on him. Having always been known as a player, Cara isn’t sure how to take Josh and his flirting ways. He is still as cute as he was in high school; how can he not be.. tight jeans and cowboy books = YUMMY! Does she give in? Of course she does! This is a Kristen Proby book after all!! Is there drama along the way? Of course! Dealing with Seth and trying to bring him out of his shell is difficult and at the same time, Cara is trying to find her place among Josh’s life on the ranch and with his family.

“What I feel for you is so big, Cara. No more doubts.”

Loving Cara is a sweet and sexy romantic book. Kristen Proby knows how to write some hot and steamy scenes! I feel like this book was different from the books in her Seattle series in that this book was a little slower and a little more romantic at times. Being the first book in her new series, I definitely feel like she laid the ground work for the future books and I hope she overlaps their relationships throughout this series like she has in the Seattle Series. I can’t wait to see what else Kristen has in store for us!
