You know girls like me. You hate girls like me. The privileged blonde who skips her Ivy League classes when she's had too many Soho martinis. The one draped on the asshole's arm because he drives a Bugati and screws like a champ.
I was that girl. I loved being that girl.
Then, my door was broken in. Literally.
And in that moment? Everything changed.
WARNING: This sexy standalone has jaw-dropping moments, crazy sexual chemistry, and will make your cheeks hurt from smiling. Read at your own risk.
Alessandra Torre is hands down one of my top 10 fave authors. When she has a new release coming, I get grabby hands and can’t wait to have it in front of me. Her writing is entertaining and real. Never have I read work by her I did not enjoy.
Love Chloe started as an online column/serial she wrote for Cosmopolitan Mag and Chloe’s story just took off from there. It was a bit different than her usual work, not a bad thing- just different. It read almost like a daily journal/diary of the main characters life. A quiet entertaining one if I must say, with a bit of a chick lit feel.
In the start of the book Chloe finds herself flung off her high society pedestal, working and living like us mere commoners- but what Chloe doesn’t expect is to find herself enjoying the hand she was dealt. She is a trooper and takes all the blows as they come her way. Reading through her day to day experiences was quiet humorous and watching her grow into a responsible woman made for a great light hearted read.
Maybe the cultured, confident woman I was before was just a product of my parents’ money. Maybe now, with my new life a train wreck, I would discover the real Chloe Madison.
And maybe, I wouldn’t like her.
I am constantly in awe of Alessandra’s ability to switch between genres with such ease. Her versatile writing always leaves me captivated with each and every story. If your looking for something fun and light about friendship, love, and finding ones self then Love Chloe is a must!
