She’s a high class call girl. He’s taking over his father’s business.

Seven years ago, they fell in love in Paris.

They walked away at the end of the summer, never imagining they’d meet again.

Now he’s her client.

We fell in love the way you jump from a cliff. Hard and fast with a reckless sense of abandon. The six weeks we spent together changed my life, but at seventeen, I was naive. I was a dreamer. A believer.

Now I’m twenty-four and cynical. I don’t believe in love. There’s no place for such emotions as a high class escort. The only things I’m allowed to feel are physical – and that’s why it’s so damn hard when the client of a last minute job turns out to be the man I left in France seven years ago. When he buys me for six weeks at triple my rate, my agent makes it clear I have no choice but to take the job despite our previous relationship. And my heart makes it very clear I have to stay firmly on top of the cliff this time.

Because for six weeks, I once again belong to Aaron Stone.

Alexis says…

As soon as I read the synopsis for Late Call, I was more than pumped to read it. I love, love, love escort/call girl themed books. Then you add a second chance of love storyline to it and I was, hook, line and sinker.

“If I’d have known it was you, I would have paid triple for all night.”

Seven years ago, Dayton and Aaron had a whirlwind romance in Paris that made me want to jump the next Air France flight and find my own chance of love. At seventeen, they spent that entire 6 weeks together, and fell completely in love. After those few weeks were over, they both went back to their lives, Aaron in New York and Dayton in Seattle. Flash forward seven years, and Dayton is definitely not the same girl Aaron fell in love with. She is no longer naïve and does not fall in love. Nope, she is now a full-fledged call-girl and damn good one at that. When Dayton is hired for a last minute job, she could never imagine that the person staring back at her is the one person who stole her heart 7 years ago. Where do they go from here?

“Anyone who makes me feel the way you do isn’t someone to give up on. She’s the person you chase until forever end and keep even longer.”

I know…the book sounds amazing, right?! Well, it sure the hell was. Dayton is a fantastic heroine, she has fabulous taste in clothes, she knows who she is and doesn’t make any apologies about it. Also, she is just honest, there are no butterflies and roses.  She fends for herself and is kinda kickass at the same time. She tried to protect her heart throughout the book but Aaron was too much of a force to be reckoned with.

Love. Always believe in love.”

Aaron is just, WOW! Yes, he has the most fabulous, dirty mouth I’ve ever read. I didn’t realize it when I started reading it-let’s just say it got a little uncomfortable in the break room while I was reading it at work. He is also a fighter in the office and for Dayton’s heart. He will make you swoon and want your own version. I swear, I have more highlights in this book than any other one I’ve read in a long time.

“I’m easy, Day.  You could fuck me hard and fast or you could fuck me slow, and I’d come for you.  Inside you, over you… As long as you fuck me the same way I’ll fuck you, like you’ll never get enough of me being inside you, I’ll come for you.”

The two of them together are so hot in this book, so if you are looking for a spicy read look no further. You could literally feel the love and the hotness (it’s inevitable) between them in the past and in the present. This book made you want to root for Aaron and Dayton the entire time.

To say I enjoyed this book is putting it lightly. I devoured it in a short amount of time. Was there sneak reading involved? I plead the 5th! Lastly, I should warn you, there is a cliffhanger involved. I usually don’t like cliffhangers but I enjoyed this book so much it didn’t matter. Plus, the next book should be out next month.
