These Royals will ruin you.

Easton Royal has it all: looks, money, intelligence. His goal in life is to have as much fun as possible. He never thinks about the consequences because he doesn’t have to.

Until Hartley Wright appears, shaking up his easy life. She’s the one girl who’s said no, despite being attracted to him. Easton can’t figure her out and that makes her all the more irresistible.

Hartley doesn’t want him. She says he needs to grow up.

She might be right.

Rivals. Rules. Regrets. For the first time in Easton’s life, wearing a Royal crown isn’t enough. He’s about to learn that the higher you start, the harder you fall.

Stacia says…

Have you met the Royal brothers? They will ruin you, that’s for sure! I just finished Fallen Heir (book 4 in the series) and loved it. If you haven’t read this series by author duo Erin Watt I highly recommend it. This series follows the Royal’s, which includes the father Callum and his sons Gideon, Reed, Easton, and the twins Sawyer and Sebastian. Plus, the honorary member of the family Ella Harper.
This book follows the middle son Easton, who is my favorite. He is now running his high school, partying like a rock star, and trying to figure out where he fits into this family. When he first sees black haired beauty Hartley Wright, he sees a new challenge and she definitely does challenge him! The tension (sexual tension as well) between these two is very well written!

I wasn’t sure about Hartley’s character at first. She seems so mysterious and its obvious she has secrets. Since this book is totally strictly in Easton’s point of view, I didn’t feel like I got to know Hartley as well as I could have if this was a joint point of view book and we were given a glimpse into her head. However, Easton and Hartley’s story is far from over, so maybe we will learn more about her and what makes her tick in the next book- Cracked Kingdom, which is coming in January.

I am going to be straight up honest and say that this book ended in a cliff hanger- which I saw coming. But man I wish I got a little more closure before it ended! Especially since the next book isn’t out for another 6 months. Of course, my love for this series and the brilliant story telling of duo Erin Watt will still have me waiting patiently (maybe…) until January for the conclusion to this story.
