Bryna feels his eyes on her.

Hot, seductive, enticing.

He’s at least ten years older than her seventeen years, and he knowsexactly what he’s doing to her with that look. Walking away would be the smart thing to do… But she can’t. Not that first night when he takes her home and claims her body. Not when he shows up in her life again with expensive gifts to win her trust. Not even when she’s falling for him, and everything else is falling apart…

Find out how Bryna goes from golden girl to gold digger in this tantalizingly scandalous book.

Casey Says…..

A short, fast-paced, entertaining read!! I was looking for a quick read, to get me out of a reading slump and Diamonds did the trick.

Still in High School, Bryna at the age of 17 is wise beyond her years. Popular and the “IT” girl- guys want her and girls want to be her, she is adjusting to living with a new step family- that was brought on when her father cheated on her mother. While out on the town searching for something “new” Bryna runs into a hot, handsome stranger.  A passionate relationship ensues but soon the pieces built with a foundation of lies and secrets, begins to crumble.

“The person in front of her was a man. And completely delectable. At the youngest, he was in his late twenties. No less than ten years older than her seventeen years.”

Bryna was not a very likable character. She was a bitch with a capital “B”- but she owns it. I really can’t think of anything nice to say about her- other than she most definitely goes after what she wants. HOWEVER, this did not deter me from enjoying the read.  It was angsty, hot and frustrating- and I really enjoyed reading it. Bryna is something like that of a train wreck and I cannot wait to read Gold (All that Glitters #2)- I’m curious to see where she goes with this………

About K.A. Linde

K.A. Linde is the USA Today bestselling author of the Avoiding series, Record series, Take Me for Granted, and Following Me. As a military brat, she traveled the world with her family, imaginary friends, and ever-increasing supply of books. She has spent much of her life dreaming up new worlds and characters and forcing them into awkward, usually life-threatening scenarios.

When not writing, she spends her time dancing, collecting paperbacks in the hopes of filling a Beauty and the Beast style library one day, and reading a random assortment of young adult fantasy books.

She currently resides in Georgia with her fiancé and two puppies, Lucy and Riker, where she is hard at work on her next novel.
