He was born to ascend.
He was destined to lead.
He was never meant to fail.

Prophet Cain lies broken and defeated on the floor of his cell. A cell he has been thrown into by the one person who was supposed to stand by his side until the end. His flesh and blood, his only companion. His beloved twin brother.

Cain has sacrificed everything for his people. He left the safety and security of his life of study to infiltrate the infamous Hades Hangmen. He lived with them, rode with them, and then betrayed them. All in the name of a faith he can now feel slipping away from him. Like everything else he once held dear…

But then his isolation is broken. Another prisoner is brought to the cell next to his. A woman fighting her own demons and fears. A woman who Cain understands needs him, as he needs her.

As the connection between them grows, so does Cain’s resolve. He will right the wrongs he has done. He will atone for the evil acts carried out in his name. He will save the one he loves…

… Even if the battle takes him to the gates of hell itself.

Contemporary Dark Romance. Contains explicit sexual situations, violence, sensitive and taboo subjects, offensive language, and mature topics. Recommended for age 18 years and up.

Stacia says…

For those that follow our blog and my reviews, you know by now that I am a HUGE Tillie Cole fan. As I have said before, Tillie could publish her grocery list and it would probably be amazing; she is one of very few authors that can write any genre- dark, twisted, sweet and sexy, young adult, etc. and nail it every time. I have loved every book in the Hades Hangmen series and have been looking forward to Deep Redemption for months. However, I have been in a major book funk, so I was a little worried that even this book wouldn’t be able to pull me out. Not only did I start and finish this book in one day, but I literally didn’t want to put it down (well except for bathroom breaks LOL)!

Deep Redemption is Rider “aka” Cain’s story and I was kind of nervous going into this book, because I have had mixed feelings about him from the first book in the series. Tillie once again wrote very strong characters and I was able to sympathize and really fall in love with Rider- who I didn’t think could get me. There is another character (who shall remain nameless, to avoid spoilers) who was also so well written. This character could have easily been weak and someone who let others walk all over them- but their backbone was incredible and I was so impressed by their strength and courage.

“A pure soul always finds love. Even through hate, they will always find the ability to claim love.”

I loved so many things about this book. There were so many surprises and twists and turns- which makes this review hard to write- but I am going to keep it completely spoil free- because this story deserves to be told with the reader going in fresh and without knowing anything that will happen.
Thank you again Tillie for writing an amazing story and for pulling me out of my funk. I am scrolling through my kindle excited to find another book to read- which hasn’t happened in a few months!!

About Tillie Cole

Tillie Cole is a Northern girl through and through. She originates from a place called Teesside on that little but awesomely sunny (okay I exaggerate) Isle called Great Britain. She was brought up surrounded by her English rose mother — a farmer’s daughter, her crazy Scottish father, a savagely sarcastic sister and a multitude of rescue animals and horses.
