Danika hasn’t had an easy life. Being insanely attracted to bad boys has never helped make it easier.
One look at Tristan, and every brain cell she possessed went up in smoke. This man was trouble with a capital T. It was a given.
She knew better. Bad boys were bad. Especially for her. Considering her history, it was crazy to think otherwise. So why did crazy have to feel so damn fine?
For as long as she could remember, Danika had been focused on the future with single-minded purpose. Tristan came along and taught her everything there was to know about letting go, and living in the present. She fell, hard and deep. Of course, that only made her impact with the ground that much more devastating.
Bad Things is about Tristan and Danika, and their train wreck of a love story. This series can be read as a standalone, or with the Up in the Air series.
I loved the Up In The Air series by RK Lilley, so this series has been on my TBR for some time now and I was so excited to finally get to it. Who ever thought that something so toxic could be so SEXY! Tristen and Danika are a HOT MESS……keyword HOT. This read was full of gut wrenching angst (skirting the line of almost being too much) and I ENJOYED every minute of it.
Danika is such a strong, beautiful and controlled girl. While attending college she works as a live in Nanny for some very close friends of hers. It’s here that she meets the SUPER sexy, tattooed bad boy, club promoter/rock star Tristen Vega. Tristen and Danika both have some very bad and troubling issues buried deep down. Danika only does relationships and Tristen avoids them at all costs. The chemistry that these two spark in one another is off the charts hot and they can not seem to keep their pledge of being only friends. Once that line is crossed there is no going back for either of them regardless of how much they both try to fight it.
What this book overdid in angst, it made up for in hot, steamy, burn up the sheets scenes. There is no denying that RK Lilley can write hot men and even hotter sex. I believe the most highlighted sentence in the book was :
I’m going to fuck you hard on the hood of this car, in the pouring rain. And.You. Are. Not. Going. To. Forget. It.
Wow- ummm OK!! I can not wait to finish this series and discover what is left and becomes of Tristen and Danika. Book one only scratched the surface of what I know will be an off the charts love story.
